The Greater St. Stephen Sports Wall of Fame Banquet and Induction Ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 4 at 6:00 pm at the Garcelon Civic Center. This year’s inductees are Judy Wilson, Michael Sweeney, John Howard Crocker and the 1978-1982 St. Stephen Sabres Baseball Teams. Tickets are $50 and can be purchased from Jim Maxwell at 466-1798.

(Brent MacPherson) I am helping along with Cheyann Matthews to hold a community meeting on Policing & Community safety, this coming Sunday May 5th at Kirk McColl Church Hall on King street and door to the hall is on the side on McColl Street. It will be held from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm. We have invited the Mayor & Council along with MLA & Minister of Seniors Kathy Bockus and we also hope Sgt. Scott McKenzie or someone from the RCMP will attend.
Egyptian Food Fundraiser: The Multicultural Association is holding a fundraiser with take-out Egyptian food as part of Paddlefest week, on Wednesday May 15th, at the All Saints Church hall on 75 King Street, Saint Andrews, starting at 5:30pm till sold out. $12 per person. All proceeds go towards helping settle newcomers to the area. Come early as the food is expected to sell out. A limited number of pre-orders will be accepted through emailing community@ccmanb.com or calling 222-0168.
The Paddlefest Music and Nature Festival is happening May 16th - 19th in St. Andrews By-The-Sea. This year's festival includes 4 days of music, outdoor activities and community events.
