It was a pretty bad crash on Highway 1 near Musquash on Wednesday evening which sent one person to the Saint John Regional Hospital with serious injuries.
The Musquash Fire Department got the call around 5:30 and when they arrived on scene they found a car had spun out of control in the eastbound lane between marker 106 and 93 and hit the guard rail.
The guard rail went through the car like a spear near the front driver tire and then came out on the passenger side after travelling further down the road.
Fire crews had to extract the driver from the car.
