One person was killed and two people were taken to the hospital after a head-on crash in Moncton.
It happened on Berry Mills Road between Horsman Road and Zach Road just before 10 a.m. Friday.
RCMP Staff Sgt. Pierre Berard told our newsroom said the collision involved an SUV and a pick-up truck.
Berard said one person died at the scene from their injuries. No other details about the victim have been released.
The driver and a passenger in the pick-up truck were injured in the crash and rushed to the hospital, he said.
Fire officials initially told our newsroom that two people suffered life-threatening injuries. Berard said their injuries were confirmed to be non-life-threatening after they arrived at the hospital.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation. The road was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
