The Magnetic Hill concert site has been silent for the past three years, but on Labour Day weekend, concert fans are about to be “Thunderstruck” again.
Donald K Donald Productions, AEG Live and the City of Moncton announced this morning that AC/DC will return to the Hub City on September 5th.
The lengendary band performed in Moncton in 2009, to an estimated 70, 000 fans on Magnetic Hill.
But they’ve decided to return, for their Rock or Bust tour.
President and CEO of DKD Productions Andre Hudon says this Labour Day weekend date may bring back memories of another big concert that was held on the Hill. “It’ll be exactly ten years from the date that we did the Rolling Stones on the Hill back in 2005.”
Tickets go on sale on February 16th. It will be general admission tickets only for this show, at a cost of $109.50 plus taxes and service charges.
